Overheating in the Attic Space Classroom in Summer

Abstract The presented study deals with the space located in attic of an older building after reconstruction. Originally, was not used, as it did have sufficient headroom. reconstruction designed such a way that entire original pitched roof gradually raised by 1.2 meters parts, creating full-fledged under roof. visual connection interior exterior ensured continuous strips vertical windows around perimeter building, each window measuring 600x600 mm. is also illuminated several skylights at level, which, although they ensure penetration daylight from above into interior, same time allow for considerably unpleasant overheating. task to find optimize size transparent surfaces and determine accumulation structures order achieve acceptable cumulative effect overheating, i.e., permissible increase indoor air temperature summer. It means trying theoretically design suitable comfortable already existing building.
